The only ones I can think of from the top of my head are Draftodil and Iceweed (even then Iceweed is just a spikeweed that slows zombies down, very creative). Sometimes all three! Whoop-dee fucking doo! Very rarely do we actually get a pretty unique, balanced plant. A vast majority of plants we get nowadays are either broken af, a combination of two or more previous plants, or an overall better version of a plant. There are over 200 plants in this game, do we really need more? I get a lot of people would be upset if new plants suddenly stop being released and I get that, but please just for the very least tone down the amount of new plants we get per month and do something else with the game! This wouldn't nearly be as bad if the new plants we got were actually cool and interesting. I'm fucking sick of new plants! My God, that's ALL we get nowadays! Stop making new plants just for a little bit and do something else! They just pump out 1 or 2 plants every two months and I'm tired of it. Now, I'm going to have a little bit of a rant here so bare with me but. Other than the Carnie Zombies, the only updates we get nowadays are new plants and new levels (either for Arena, Penny's Pursuit or Thymed Events). The best thing that has come out for the last few months is the Carnie Zombies. There's nothing new coming out, there's nothing exciting anymore. Everything that has been coming out recently is just disappointing. Throughout the months I'm becoming more and more disappointed with the game. as the title suggests for the last few months I've recently began kinda losing faith in PvZ2. There's just something I want to discuss. Anyway, enough about that, I'm getting sidetracked. I get people have opinions and whatnot, if you don't like PvZ2 that's fine, but these reasons just seem like things people who haven't even played the game say, because that's what their favourite PvZ1/Eclise Elitist YouTuber says. For a long time, I've always hated when people would shit on PvZ2 it being "P2W", simply having EA publish the game or (my favourite reason) having George Fan be fired from PopCap due to not liking the microtransactions. quite defensive about it when it's brought up in discussion, whether that be in-person or online. And even today I still think it's a very good game, and I'm. I'll always remember finding out PvZ2 thanks to finding ZackScottGames in my YouTube recommended (which is funny because I never even heard of the guy until then) and losing my much younger self's shit. Plants Vs Zombies 2 holds a special place in my heart, as I've pretty much played it from the very beginning when we had old world maps. I firmly believe that every game (except Zombie Match and Old PvZ3 but they're long gone now) in the series is for the very least good, even the more disappointing and controversial ones like Battle For Neighbourville. So, I've always loved the PvZ franchise even from the very beginning.
